Description:
The BTBee Pro is a module designed for transparent wireless serial connection. The module enables any micro with a serial port to send data using the Bluetooth protocol and supports Slave and Master mode. The module can be directly plugged on any XBee Shield or other modules that use the XBee socket.
The BTBee Pro uses a fully qualified Bluetooth V2.0+EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) and comes with an on-board antenna and acts like a transparent serial port, which works with a variety of Bluetooth adapters and devices that support SPP profile. Because the module can operate as Master or Slave, you can use two modules to create a simple wireless link between two devices.
The module default PIN code is 1234 but you can change the default PIN at any time. There are three status LED's which gives some hint on the data transmission and possible communication errors.
Power The light is on when the module is powered.
CON
The LED will be off when the BTBee Pro module is connect to any device
The LED will be on if the BTBee Pro module is not connect with any device
Status
Without any data transmission, the LED blinks once every 100ms
When transmitting data, the LED blinks twice (100ms interval) and stops for two seconds. This sequence is repeated until the transmission is complete.
